The Audience of Cáceres has sentenced Romanian Dumitru Constantin to four years in prison, 48 -year -old partner and his 29 -year -old Mexican exmsss, after they were accused of stealing 45 bottles of wine from the Atrio restaurant, located in the city Cacereña and that they visited up to three times.

However, the thing was not there since the judges forced the two defendants to pay compensation of 753,454 euros, that is, the same amount in which the expert Roberto Nebreda and the restaurant insurance company, Reale Seguros, tasted the bottles stolen. An established sanction after the judges considered proven that the authors committed a crime of “robbery with force open to the public of special gravity.”

The sentence, of 24 folios and whose content includes ‘El País’, said that Constantin and Guevara “planned the events on June 1 and 13, and on August 12”, with the previous stay of the woman at the Hotel Athrus Located next to the restaurant on October 26. The exmiss, according to the brief, arrived with a false Swiss passport and with an empty backpack and had dinner that same night with the Romanian male. In room 107 of the hotel, they tested a tasting menu of 14 dishes.

The sentence considers proven that the two defendants of the robbery left at 5:00 of the facilities.

Arrested in Croatia in July 2022
